Brave New World Project
Reflection
1. Why did you choose the medium you did? I chose Photoshop because it would allow me to compile existing images with the most smoothness, creating the sort of pre-fabricated look I desired.
2. How were you able to get your idea across using the basics (art elements and principles)? I utilized various values to showcase exactly how sinister that what was being portrayed was in a subtle way. I also utilized false texture to make it a look a bit more natural in places and make it pop out.
3. If you were to do it all over again, would you do it the same way or what, specifically, would you change about your process on this project?
I would try to find a different way to render the robot backhoe's legs. It looks kinda weird. I would use a more narrow, pointed look.

Brochure
This here is my brochure on the Temple of Ramses II. Due to some issues with saving, it is in a slightly less colorful state than it once was, but it conveys the cool information, and pictures really remind me of Southern Utah.
Sketches
In this project, we were assigned to draw an animal, and then upload it. We then utilized various LiveTrace (a method of refining the picture) settings on it, and looked at the results.
Flash Animation Project
In this project, we were assigned to create a stop-motion animation, and edit it in Adobe Flash. My animation, "Valhalla, I am Coming!" is about a hapless spaceship which is attacked by a mysterious alien race. with glowing red eyes. Enjoy!
Lighting and Depth of Field
Experimenting with different light sources and apertures on my camera.
